Why Your Brand Name Needs Trademark Protection Before You Launch
Your LLC filing does not stop a competitor from using your name. Here is what a federal trademark gives you, and why filing before launch wins.
We prepare your annual report from your details and file it with your state, once or automatically each time it is due.

Pick your state to see your total.

An annual report is a short filing that tells the state who runs your company and where to reach it. Your state decides whether it is due every year, every 2 years or not at all, and what it is called. If it is not filed, your company can face late fees, and many states can close it.
For $20 more per report, Auto Filing files every report for you and adds two yearly extras worth $128.

What can happen when a yearly report is missed.
Most states add a late fee once the due date passes.
After a missed report, the state can dissolve your company.
In some states, owners can become personally responsible for company debts.
A company the state dissolves can lose the right to its name.
Tell us what changed, if anything. We file the report for you.

The Blugency Promise, three commitments with every annual report.
If the state rejects your report, we correct it and file again right away, and we pay any new state fee.
If a delay on our side makes your report late, we pay the state's late fee.
Show us any letter that asks you to pay for your report, and we confirm whether the state sent it.
It depends on your state and company type, which you can choose at the top of this page. LLCs in Arizona, Missouri and New Mexico do not file one, and Ohio businesses do not either. Delaware asks its LLCs for a yearly tax, not a report.
Each state sets its own date. Florida's report is due by May 1 and Georgia's by April 1. Wyoming's is due each year by the first day of the month your company was formed. We look up your exact date when you order.
It often starts with a late fee, such as $75 for a Nevada LLC or $25 in Georgia. If the report is still missing, many states dissolve or revoke the company. Nevada revokes an LLC about a year after the missed filing. Starting with reports due in 2027, Pennsylvania can dissolve a company 6 months after its due date.
Often, yes, through a reinstatement, but it costs more than filing on time. Wyoming allows it only within 2 years, and a Nevada LLC revoked for 5 years cannot come back.
Yes, in states like Florida, where the report can change your registered agent, your addresses and your officers or managers. A new company name is different, and Florida requires a separate amendment for it.
You pay $99 and the state fee for each report we file. We email you 30 days before each charge, with the details we will file and the total. If nothing changed, you do not need to reply, and we file your report ahead of your deadline. You can stop Auto Filing from your dashboard whenever you like.
Delaware LLCs file no annual report. Instead, they pay a flat $400 tax for each year, due by June 1 of the following year. Paying late adds $200 plus 1.5% interest a month. We pay it for you, and the price card shows it as its own line.
No, it is a separate tax that every California LLC owes the Franchise Tax Board each year. California's report, called the Statement of Information, is a different filing with the Secretary of State. New LLCs owe the tax from their first year. The old exemption for new LLCs covered only tax years that began in 2021 through 2023.
Yes, under another name. Texas LLCs, corporations and limited partnerships file a Public Information Report with the Comptroller, the Texas tax office, by May 15 each year. It is required even when the company owes no franchise tax, which is a separate Texas tax.
It may not be. Ohio warns about letters charging $125 or more for fake report filings. California warns about mailed offers charging nearly 10 times its own fee, and Wyoming's Business Division says it does not send invoices. Before you pay anyone, forward the letter to us.
